We have a phenomenal group of authors on hand for our first-ever manuscript consultation program. Louise Marburg, Angela Mitchell, Tanya Perkins, Amelie Prusik, and Jenny Wu are all widely published authors and experienced editors and/or educators, and are ready to critique your works-in-progress. Manuscript consultations involve close readings and in-depth responses, based on the critiquing authors' approaches. You can learn about each approach by clicking on the author's name below.

This month’s program is open to a wide variety of fiction manuscripts. The fees and page length parameters are as follows:

– Flash Fiction, up to 2 pages in length, $40
– Short Stories, up to 20 pages in length, $75
– Chapbooks, up to 40 pages in length, $150
– Novellas, up to 100 pages in length $250
– Short Story Collections, up to 180 pages in length, $380
– Novels, up to 300 pages in length, $750
 
All manuscripts should be double-spaced and formatted in 12-point font. Please do not exceed the page limits, as your manuscript won’t be read if you do.
 
The deadline to submit work for this consultation program is February 28. Our consultants will complete their work by thirty days after receipt of your manuscript.
